YASS Yet Another Slide rule Simulator is a VRML (Virtual Reality Modeling Language) Simulation of the Pickett Model N909-ES slide rule.

You can use it to explore the operating principle of a Slide rule, zoom in on every part and perform actual calculations.

To view the model you need a VRML viewer: a plug-in for your operating system that allows you to view the Slide rule, and other VRML worlds.

Once the viewer is installed properly VRML files can be displayed in most Browsers.
In the unlikely event that your browser does not display VRML after the installation you can dowload the files to your computer and view YASS without the need to be connected to the Internet.
